My Profile & Team

As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM practitioner, Lee specializes in strategic financial planning and comprehensive wealth management.  He has built his business using a client service philosophy that focuses on highly personal relationships and customized, objective advice.

Lee advises his clients the way he would his own family, identifying their goals, and helping them to simplify their financial lives and build legacies for the ones they love and the causes they care about.  He offers expertise in portfolio management, asset allocation and diversification, insurance planning, charitable giving, and multi-generational wealth transfer strategies.

In order to most effectively meet his client’s unique needs and objectives, Lee feels he must first listen to them, helping them to simplify their current financial picture and goals.  Lee believes that the key to financial success lies in holistic financial planning, and, utilizing a consultative approach, works to help his clients accumulate, grow, maintain and transfer their wealth.

Lee earned his Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Business Administration from Gordon College in 2006. Immediately after graduating, Lee was recruited by a team of financial advisors at Smith Barney in southern New Jersey, where he met the rigorous education, examination, experience and ethics requirements necessary to earn the Certified Financial PlannerTM (CFP®) designation.

In 2009 Lee joined Janney Montgomery Scott, a full-service, financial services firm headquartered in Philadelphia.  Continuing his professional education, in the following year Lee attained the Certified in Long-Term Care (CLTC) designation, which is the long-term care insurance industry's only independent professional designation focused on the field of long-term care planning.  Lee has also earned the Certified Kingdom Advisor® designation, which recognizes him as a committed Christian financial professional who has met high standards in training, integrity, character and competence as an Advisor, Leader and Counselor.

In 2013, Lee became a Retirement Income Specialist (RIS), and holds the RIS designation. This new, professional program, created by Janney, in conjunction with The Wharton School, focuses on unique strategies, and provides the tools necessary to effectively plan for retirement income – helping clients prepare for the complex issues facing retirees today.

In 2014 Lee earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) designation, which required over 900 hours of study in accounting, economics, ethics, finance and mathematics.  First introduced in 1963, the CFA designation is the most respected and recognized investment credential in the world. And, even though the CFA Charter is a professional credential and not an academic degree, it is benchmarked as comparable to a Masters Degree in Finance.  Lee holds his FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 securities licenses, as well as his New Jersey Life and Annuity licenses.

Outside of Janney Lee is active in both his church and local community.  Lee currently serves on the Urban Promise Corporate Committee in Maple Shade, NJ, The King’s Christian School in Cherry Hill, NJ and Options for Women Crisis Pregnancy Center in Cherry Hill, NJ.  He also enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Lee lives in Southern New Jersey with his wife Courteney and their three young children Elizabeth, William and Kathryn.

My practice is supported by a number of wealth management specialists and investment strategists. They are based out of Janney's corporate headquarters in Philadelphia.  I work closely with these individuals in order to offer superior products and services to each of my clients.
